Are you a beginner marketer looking to boost your online income?
If so, you should know that one of the primary things that you will need
to learn how to do is generate traffic to your website. I understand
that this may seem like a tough thing to do - especially if you've been
trying to make money online for the last couple of years. But I assure
you that it is possible and feasible.
Traffic generation is a topic that baffles many people online. But honestly, I don't see how. I see scientists and physicists who discover and solve many problems in the world (and beyond) today. But take that same scientist or physicist and tell them to make money on the internet, and it make take them 3 light years just to figure it out!
Now obviously that was a bit of an extreme example (kind of), but hopefully you get my point. If you want sales, and you want a lot of them, you will have to generate traffic to your site. Luckily, there are some great ways to do this - without even investing a lot of money. And that's what I want to share with you today. Here's one of the best ways to get traffic to your site without investing a lot of money:
1) Start your own affiliate program
Starting an affiliate program is tremendously easy these days. You can either use a customized application yourself (like 1shoppingcart.com), or simply go and put your product on a marketplace like Clickbank, Paydotcom, or JVzoo (for maybe around $50). It's one of the most efficient ways of marketing online - and to get traffic.
For a lot of people who will join your affiliate program, you should make it easy for them to say "Yes!" and promote your product. Offer a good affiliate commission (50% is pretty good), give them marketing tools, and be available for them whenever they need your help.
In return, your affiliates will send you a lot of traffic - in the hopes of getting a sale for themselves. Now one thing you should know is that, just because you may get a TON of affiliates, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will a lot of sales. Only a very small percentage of the affiliates that you get will produce for you the most sales.
But a sale is a sale, and the more new customers you can get, the better. Here's another inexpensive way to get traffic to your website:
2) Advertising on pay per click networks (PPC)
Ever heard of PPC? The most dominant and perhaps most effective pay per click network is Google AdWords. Of course, it's owned by Google obviously, but it's a great way to attract prospects to your site for a small cost.
There's also Bing Ads that you could use also. It's ran by Bing and Yahoo combined... and it's a strong network. And it's not entirely super competitive. So if you're in a position where you would like to get a lot of leads for a small price, you should try pay per click advertising... and try it now.
These 2 options for spending a little bit of money to get a ton of traffic to your website is something that you should consider doing today in your business. It's incredibly easy to conduct, and certainly not hard. Good luck!
