Internet Marketing Business - The New Home Business

Are you a victim of corporate downsizing? Have you been fired? Have you been unsuccessful with your job search? On a brighter note, are you employed but looking for additional income? Or maybe even retired and just need something to do? Well all of these scenarios would warrant having your own business. Good idea right? I think so but a lot of people may not feel as I do or see things as I see them. Many people feel that in order to have your own business, you have to invest a lot of money.

This is not necessarily true. A successful business will need more of your time than your money. Starting a business from the ground up or operating a franchise can be costly but if you can not afford it you can still have your own business for minimal costs by providing a service you are good at, joining a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company or starting a Home Internet Marketing Business.

Assuming the first two options are no-brainers, allow me to go into more detail about the Home Internet Marketing Business. For some reason, when people see or hear this term, they immediately think "Network Marketing". It is, but it isn't. Sure, networking is a fundamental part of the Home Internet Marketing Business but it involves other entities as well.

The "Home...Business" part of the word implies working for yourself, at home, etc. "Internet Marketing"; the core part of the phrase is nothing more than marketing on the Internet. Okay, you're probably saying "well what does that mean?" "How is that a business?".

Internet Marketing is about marketing something via the internet. That something could be anything. It could be your MLM products, your services, the opening of your restaurant, old clothes & shoes, etc. The list can go on and on. Eventually, if you are marketing the right way, it will lead to sales. And quite honestly, if you don't have a product or are not a part of a MLM, you can offer your services to "Internet Market" someone else's business/products or you can brand yourself and "Internet Market" the products you have created.

Notice, I mentioned earlier that there is a right way to market, implying that there is also a wrong way. If you didn't know there are tons of ways to market on the internet but that's not important because what you need to realize is that whatever strategy you use, you don't want to abuse it. What I mean by "abuse" is gaining popularity by pitching your business but offering no value. This may not be a good analogy but to me that is just like someone approaching you at the mall about their business when you are there to shop.

People like to pitch their business in the stores/malls because they figure that you are already in the mind frame to buy, so why not buy what they are selling. The same type of activity occurs on the Internet. People know that there are many shoppers and Internet Marketers on the internet just like themselves hoping to eventually make sales so everything they post is begging people to purchase their product. It's annoying and people get turned off by it. This would be considered the wrong way to market. The right way is simply to offer valuable comments, gifts and advice all over the internet.

You want to become established in the Internet Marketing industry as an expert and a leader; someone who others can trust and rely on. This approach will lead to sales and lasting relationships amongst your peers.

Now some of you are now saying "that sounds great and all but how much does it cost to get started?" Well, let me start of by saying that there are not too many businesses that you can start without investing any money.

The main focus of any business is Return On Investment (ROI). You want to have some sort of idea going into any business what the chances are for getting a good ROI or just an ROI period. In other words, if you invested $500 into your business, you should want to make your $500 back (within reasonable amount of time) to at least break even or $500+ for profit and/or reinvestment. That's why it is important that you research any business industry you are trying to be a part of. Reading is essential and talking to people in the industry is a plus.

Let's get back to how much it would cost to start a Home Internet Marketing Business. As I stated there are tons of internet sites available that you can use to market yourself or your business and some of the well known ones are Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. These happen to be free sites that allow you to network and market.

There are many more to choose from that can aid with the strategies you will choose. If you choose making videos as one of your strategies, YouTube is free however if you want to have your videos broadcast to other video sites all at the same time, there are internet sites that will allow you to do this for a FEE. If you choose to write articles as one of your strategies, you can write and submit your articles to one article site at a time or you can use an internet site that will allow you to submit your articles to many article sites at one time; for a FEE.

Then in addition to this, Internet Marketers are highly encouraged to use specific types of tools in order to do well. Some of those tools consist of listbuilders, autoresponders, website domains, etc. These are considered essential. What Internet Marketer wouldn't have these? For some of these tools, you can pay monthly or yearly. We're talking like $20/month at the most for some of these tools. Tools such as article and video submitters may be more costly but depending on which service you choose, it is most likely unlimited usage for a year.

So unless you know what tools are required and what they are for, you will feel like you are spending too much money. But once again, you have to look at it like you are investing into YOUR business. Remember, I said earlier that you will invest more time than money. Imagine, spending minutes to hours writing articles, posting articles, making videos, posting videos, updating your blog, participating in forums, bookmarking, etc.

I just named a few other strategies that are involved with Internet Marketing and that's not even half of what you can do. Of course you do not have to use the same strategies everyday but even with rotation, it can be time consuming and honestly frustrating when you are just getting started. But you should not let this stop you from starting a Home Internet Marketing Business.

There are so many tools and resources available that would allow you to outsource for the things that you do not know how to do or want to do. You can pay to have someone build your website, write your articles, submit your videos, etc.

When it comes to outsourcing, it is just like hiring a contractor; you take a few quotes and choose the best for the job based on their credentials and of course their fee may be a factor. Now would I recommend this? Well, to be quite honest, most successful Internet Marketers get to a point where they outsource but just starting off, I recommend picking a few strategies and use them manually (no automation, i.e. article submitters) and on your own (rather than outsourcing).

Do this for a couple of months so that you can become familiar with certain websites and maybe if you set a solid work plan and get into a groove, you wouldn't need either an automated service site or a contractor.

This will help you to get your business up and running while saving some investment costs. If at some time after that you are able to afford the automation and/or contractors by all means, it will be well worth it.

Thanks,

How To Work Links Into Your Emails

Email marketing is all about profiting from the emails you send to your subscribers. Before that can happen, you have to work links for offers into your messages. This could be offers for your own products or affiliate offers. No matter what you decide to promote, you have to work those links into your various email messages that go out to your subscribers.

Here are five different ways to work them in. Which method you chose depends on what you're promoting and on your niche. Some niches lend themselves to strong solo emails (internet marketing comes to mind), while other niches and their target audiences respond much better to softer sales methods. Pick and choose what works best for your audience.

Link To Blog Posts That Discuss A Product

One of the easiest ways to "soft sell" a product is to link to a blog post where you discuss the product. For example, you could link in your emails to a blog post where you review the product.

Casually Mention A Product In Your Email And Link To It

Another great option is to casually mention a product in your email. For example if you're writing an email about keyword research, you could mention that Wordtracker is your favorite keyword research tool. Then just make "Wordtracker" a clickable link that of course uses your affiliate link. [Link to Wordtracker with your affiliate link]

Include An Offer With A Strong Call To Action

If you want to make a stronger offer, include a call to action in your email. Using the keyword research example from above, write your email about the topic and then end it with a message that asks readers to click through and sign up for Wordtracker. You can include the CTA at the end of your email, or anywhere within the main body of your email. Consider reminding them to click through and buy in the P.S. of your email.

Sponsored By Messages In Your Newsletters

If you are publishing a weekly or monthly email newsletter, you can make an offer for one of your own products or something you're an affiliate for and call it a "sponsored by" message. For example, your weekly marketing newsletter could be sponsored by Wordtracker. This could be a simple note somewhere in your newsletter, or a small advertisement in each issue. It's another way to include a sales message without coming off as too pushy.

Write A Solo Email

Last but not least, you have the option for a hard sell with a solo email. The sole purpose of that message is to sell a product or service. As with all of these emails, your offer could be any of your own products or those you are an affiliate for.

Solo emails are a great way to make sales, but they aren't something you want to use in every single email you sent to your list. Instead use them when you have a great offer that you know your readers will love. Use marketing in your other messages using the other methods outlined.

Mix and match your emails using a combination of content and offers and you'll do well. While you don't need an offer in every single email you sent to your list, work them in as often as you can. Get your readers used to offers and get them in the habit of buying from you.

The Impact of Social Media on Advertising

From the beginning, social media has had an important impact on all of us. Social media started out as a method for people to either connect or reconnect with each other. At this point, social media has become much more.

Business people use marketing to successfully grow their businesses and to get their word out in a tremendous way. The most effective marketing approach is one that uses social media and traditional marketing in tandem. Business owners have figured out that social media marketing (SMM) has a very positive effect on the success of business and it is a method that takes very little money to accomplish a solid end result.

Social media marketing plus traditional marketing

Marketers are using traditional forms of marketing (radio, television and print) as well as using the Internet to reach out to customers and potential customers and getting those customers and potential customers to reach out to them.

The number of people who regularly use various social media channels has grown dramatically and more and more people are getting more and more involved with social media to grow their businesses and to build relationships with other people all of the time. It is one of the easiest, least expensive, and most effective ways to gain exposure and to strengthen your business's reputation.

Social media marketing and advertising

SMM is a group of operations and methods used to generate publicity through social media channels and Internet communities. Social media advertising is the planning and executing of advertising campaigns through those channels. The reason that the face of marketing is changing so drastically is that the marketers understand that they need to go wherever the clients are. The fact is that the clients are hanging out in the online social communities.

What investment must you make?

The idea that the investment that you need to make in order to make social media work has very little to do with actual money is very appealing to a lot of people. Of course, nothing valuable comes totally free. The investment that you need to make is time and effort. You need to consistently devote a specific amount of time each week to making your SMM campaign work for your business. Without that consistency, it won't work for you. It is a matter of what you are willing to give up-time or money.

The social media revolution

The revolution was inevitable. With the pace at which technology was and is changing, it was just a matter of time (and not too much time) before people would start to get involved, get passionate and drive the success of the innovative and exciting tool that is social media. Also, the fact that it started out with people using it for personal reasons did not in any way dilute the strength that social media has for businesses now and in the future.

Conclusion

SMM is not about the hard sell. It is about building relationships with others who will eventually become your customers. It is all about people and solving their problems. The more relationships you can build with other people, the more they will begin to trust you, believe in your credibility, want to do business with you, and ultimately become loyal customers.

A large and important part of building those relationships is the generation of discussions. Remember that you are having discussions with the purpose of educating, not selling. The approach is much more subtle and will really take you a long way in building your relationships. As a business owner, you have an obligation to your business and to yourself to be a part of the social media revolution. If you aren't a part of it, you won't be able to enjoy the success that you and your business want and deserve.

The Lord Of The Email Marketing

I just love "The Lord of the Rings" films.

Crazy to think they came out nearly 20 years ago now. Still remember watching the first one in the cinema and being amazed.

Since that day, I've lost count of the number of times I've watched them again. The best thing is, they're still just as epic every time.

The battles, the characters, the music... everything about them... just immense.

It's funny though, you literally never get to see the main villain, Sauron. This is even though he's the driving force behind everything that happens. After all, he made the "One Ring" in the first place.

But even though you never see him physically (remember, he's represented as a giant eye looking over Mordor), you're still scared of him. Just as the characters are. It really is quite amazing that a guy you never actually see has such a huge part to play.

And you know what? You can create a similar "awe" in your market, even if the people in it never physically see you.

Of course, the awe you create needs to be different to the awe Sauron creates. I mean, you don't want to scare your market into thinking you're looking to kill them and take over the world...

But what I mean is this:

You should always be on the minds of the people in your market. Just like Sauron is always on the minds of the characters in Lord of the Rings.

Seriously, not a single day should go by without them thinking of you. Why? Because when they're in "buying mode" (this could be right now, or it could be a year or more down the line), you're the first person they're gonna think of. You're gonna be seen as "the go-to guy" (or gal) in your market. Which means even if you charge more than your competitors, people will still buy from YOU.

So how do you make sure your prospects think of you every day? How do you make sure your prospects see you as THE expert in your niche?

Simple: You send them an email every single day of the week. And I really do mean every single day. Of course, each email you send needs to offer value to your list. And as well as giving value, you also need to make your emails entertaining. Why? Because this is ultimately what will keep people reading your future ones.

But as long as you are providing value and entertainment, emailing your list daily should see you get an increase in sales - potentially a big increase. Plus, if you're emailing your list every single day of the week, do you really think they're gonna go to any of your competitors when they're ready to buy?

'Course not.

You'll be at the forefront of their minds. They'll see you as an expert. And who knows, they might even see you as a celebrity in your market.

So whilst Sauron rules Middle-Earth, YOU can be the ruler of your niche.

Tom

The "Eye of Sauron" watches over Mordor.

Wouldn't it be cool to have an "eye" watching over you when it comes to your marketing? An "eye" to show you how to write emails that make you a lot of money? Just so happens, I can be this very "eye".

If you want all these benefits, subscribe to my very own daily email list. And yes, you will get a ton of value and entertainment every single day of the week.

How To Integrate A Social Media Marketing Plan With Your Article Marketing Strategy

Social Media is the worlds most popular way to connect with people. More than a billion people use Facebook as a way and means to stay connected with friends and business associates. Here I will discuss how you can maximize your Article Marketing strategies using social media marketing.

What is Social Media?

Most people think of social media as a way for teenagers to share photos with one another over the web.

This used to be my view of it until I noticed that 'most' of the biggest names in the world have a Facebook page. Now I asked myself, why on earth would someone like Richard Branson, and even President Obama, use Facebook? Remember what I said about over 1 billion people at the start of this article? Well, that is the answer. If a sixth of the earth's population is there, then you need to be there too.

How Can Social Media Help?

When you post a status update to your timeline on Facebook, your followers get a new post in their newsfeed. You did not have to pay for that advertising, that is how social media works. When you yourself log into your Facebook account, you will notice Facebook posts your newsfeed with relevant articles and posts which you have shown an interest in. Facebook keeps tabs on where you have been whilst using their application, and updates your newsfeed with relevant information.

Here is the key.

Facebook likes and encourages you to keep your page fresh with new status updates. This helps to keep users on their application, with new content, any of this sound familiar? So by updating your newsfeed on a regular basis, like two or three times per day, you will be getting a lot of exposure to your followers.

Leverage the Facebook Like.

The like on your Facebook page also extends to your posts, you will notice a like button on each status update. This tells the users that there is what is called social approval. The more likes the more social approval the post has. This also extends to your page.

To get more likes use the Boost Post option. This is a paid service and will maximize your posts exposure.
Article Integration.

How can you integrate your article marketing strategies using Facebook? Here is a strategy that will work.

After you have published your article on EzineArticles.com, post a link back to this article on your Facebook timeline. You can watch how much reach your post has from your timeline. Social Media Marketing Guide for Beginners

Social Media Marketing is the process of gaining attention and web traffic through the social media sites.

During this process, usually creative content to reach the masses through publicity coming from a third-party trusted source needs to be created in order for people to share the content of their interest with others and create a vicious chain that would make business cover and go beyond the market audience intended. Every online marketer needs to have a goal, a product, a service and a cause to promote through the vast and overwhelming World Wide Web.

If you already have those things defined in your mind, then congratulations! That could be probably the hardest part of entering into the social media challenge, and from now on, every single effort will contribute to reach those goals efficiently and flawlessly until you put your feet on the Social Media Guru status.

The Social Media world is wide and more extensive than ever. It is a very strategic marketing platform that reaches different cultures, ages, religion, sexes, locations, interests and such, therefore it makes it the perfect vehicle to reach and target the right audience and achieve total success.

The whole world won't care about video games, for example, but only the people that video games is part of their interests. If you target male audience with ads of high heels on sale, maybe some of them would go and buy a pair or 2 for their wives, but a pair or 2 is not exactly the kind of impact you want to have. Therefore, you focus on certain group ages and certain other factors that cause some services and products, videos and news to go "viral".

First, we need to know the basic social media sites

Facebook

Holding more than 900 million users, if you're already a Facebook user this might not be really new to you, but there are lots of features worth mentioning. You can create a dedicated business page and interact directly, and free, with your customers uploading free pictures, products and videos of the service you intend to provide or the product you are trying to sell.

That way, you can build a data base of people that will share your posts to their friends and therefore create the never ending chain. Most of these social media sites have seamlessly mobile integration so people whether it is a portable PC, a desktop, tablet or mobile phone get always connected with media in a way that you should take advantage of.

People log in to Facebook, in any situation, while commuting, in the park, at home, at school, at work. Then you're there, promoting your business for it to be displayed in the news feeds, and you would be there, constantly doing the mind trick game to the point that people will find something attractive and worth checking according to their interests. Many big corporations like Starbucks, Microsoft, Apple, Rockstar, Pepsi etc. are doing the same, and it works perfectly!

Blogs

Blogs are an easy way for people to communicate in a semi-professional way when it comes to quality of content. Quality content is always the key to a good writing and therefore, a good blogging. There are many blogger CMS (content management service) where you can get yours up and running for free in less than 5 minutes, some of these are Blogger, WordPress and probably the most user friendly one, Tumblr. One of the tricks here is knowing your audience, your market, who you are targeting and what you want to accomplish with that.

Now this has to do with some SEO or Search Engine Optimization knowledge, which is in other words, using the right keywords to rank as high as possible in a search engine i.e. Google, Bing. It has to be related to your posts and at the same time, you have to make sure you use a keyword search tool to check the competition and number of search this given keyword has.

The lowest the competition and highest number of searches it gets in a month, the more convenient for you. If you were to advertise your website holding a service of technical support chat, you would have to make the keywords very specific so people that are looking for your service would find you first. It is, for example technical support for Windows, then you'll have to include specific words, as going a little more straight to the point. Since the competition would be really high and Windows technical support is a wide content, you would focus and go further the specific services your product offers, therefore, adding additional keywords to go straight to the point would be the most successful way to do it and you would rank higher in a search engine and people would find your product easily.

From "Technical Support Chat" to "Technical Support Chat for Windows 7 and XP" you can see how we are narrowing the concept of the service you offer making it more specific, detailed and then competition of support for mobile operating systems, cellphones, Mac, iPhone, Windows Vista, Windows 8 and such, are left behind and those sites offering the services you're not related to won't steal your chances to be found for people that are merely looking for chat support for Windows 7 and XP. Once understood the keyword concept you can proceed and create content on a blog that would be easy to find on a search engine by including the right tags.

Then we have the Social Media integration again in the blog space. There are many options to share the content of your blog. Many Content Manager Services like Tumblr have the social media buttons to share and like or dislike. You need to look for the options to enable them (in the rare case they are not enabled by default) so every post of yours would have the buttons for share on Tweeter, Google+, Facebook etc. and Reblog within the blogging network you are affiliated to. With great quality and eye catching content you are encouraging people to share your stories on other media sites like the ones mentioned above plus you sharing them and there you have outstanding chances to reach a wider audience.

Twitter

A fast growing, very popular social media site. With over 340,000,000 tweets a day and around 140,00,000 users worldwide, this platform is pretty appealing to business and companies as well as for celebrities, musicians, actors, everybody! A tweet is a message of 140 characters maximum that one can write and post and followers can read and see any time in their news feeds. Talk about it, interact directly and start new conversations is one of the things that make this platform extremely successful. The way they follow Kim Kardashian and read and talk about everything she tweets in a day, the same way they can do with advertising and marketing campaigns about brands and products of their interest.

140,000,000 users to target the right audience might sound like a difficult task, but seen it from the other side of the coin, that means more potential customers for a business. Once you get into the already mentioned vicious chain of any social media site, things just keep coming along by themselves and first thing you'll notice is hundreds of hundreds of people engaged in your brand, talking about it, reviewing it and telling others about events, broadcast and such.

Linkedin

Possibly a not so popular platform making it boring for some people, but a very professional and strategic one for the rest. Some people won't spend long hours chatting or talking to other about silly, trivial things, instead, this social network goes straight to the point. People on Facebook and Twitter for example, follow anyone of their interest for the sake of simply socialize as well as businesses and companies, but Linkedin is intended to filter and leave the fun behind to focus deeper in professionalism in social media.

In Linkedin, you can be part of the people looking for a job/ service, or part of a company offering a job/ service. You can create either a personal profile with your professional information about yourself, studies, contact information, interests, certifications, identifications etc. or, create a business or company page, same way as you do it on Facebook or Twitter sufficing the same purpose: share information about your brand, service, product and keep your audience and followers up to date with the latest information about your company.

YouTube

YouTube is a very interesting platform. People go watch videos of any kind or gets redirected by any website that has a backlink to it or search engines. Once people is there on a given there you have some more "Related Videos" on a column on the right side of the screen. Clicking from video to video makes you find things you never thought you would find, interesting topics, funny videos, how-to kind of videos, publicity etc. Your chances to be seen are overwhelming and you can also get people subscribe to your Channel, which is in other terms, your own YouTube space where you upload your videos. Some people find it way more interesting and easier to just watch a video rather than reading a whole article.

You have the resource of visuals. If you were to promote fashion clothes and that is the purpose of your whole social media marketing, you can, along with other options, upload a video with people modeling your clothes, redirect people to your main business site, recommend people to share your video, to subscribe for future video updates, to visit your "fashion blog", like your page on Facebook, follow you on Tweeter, Google+, Linkedin, etc. Close your eyes and try to visualize the Tree Diagram of the whole Social Media marketing strategy and how it gets to potentially reach every single corner of the World Wide Web.

Ambitious, isn't it?

Google+

A fairly new comer on the social media site battle, Google+ offers integration of a variety of services including Gmail, Google+ Basics, Google+ Circles that let you share information or "statuses" in a way Facebook does, but has less popularity so far. You have the "Stream" feature similar to Facebook's News Feed that would let you see what others are up to, an option for following very similar as well to Tweeter.

The service is very appealing to professionals and business networks because of the exclusivity and integration of services. You create a Gmail account for example, and unless you disable it, by default you have access to all these service and a profile ready to be edited with a picture, contact information, etc. You have access to the whole Google+ network including already mention Gmail, YouTube, You+, Circles, Basics and even the well-known search engine saving and displaying results to the most relevant things to you. It is convenient to have a spare Google+ account for any Social Media Marketer because it's potential functionality and because no source is too little or too much in marketing. Might not have the same impact, a 30 seconds ad on TV than a small billboard on a bus, but the more you get the message sent the better results you will accomplish.

Social Media Stats

According the new 87 studies perform on social media marketing up to 2012, this approach from companies to customers called B2C or Business to Community has grown and reached 16% of customer engagement but has potential to grow to 57% in the next 5 years. The big three search engines Google, Bing and Yahoo! are among the five most-visited sites on the Internet. Considering that AOL is #7 and Ask is #10; five of the top 10 most-visited sites on the web are search engines.

In conclusion, Social Media Marketing is a field where professionals and amateurs in advertising can come across and put their own ideas and plans implementing their own techniques. There is no Social Media Marketer university or college degree, this knowledge that should be acquired by extensive research, it needs to be constantly employed and tested in the desired field. It is a revolutionary strategy that has taken down the old TV advertising tactics shifting it to the online market.

The percentage of people that prefer to go online on a computer or capable device versus people that watches TV grows steadily every single day. Statistics show Social Media Marketing in a lower impact percentage compared to the legacy ways for advertising, but the potential it has and room for growth is in no doubt overwhelming and could be much more improved and interactive than TV has been for the past decades.

How to Choose the Right Keywords For SEO

Once you have taken the time to develop a full list of keywords to use for your website, you may be facing thousands of keywords. Many times, this type of research can take your website in numerous directions. For the first time website developer or the business owner hoping to create an effective website for their business and to compete against the ever expanding web, there is no doubt that having the right keywords matter.

However, the task of paring down your keyword options to find just those that are vital and effective for your website can be a big task itself.

Take each of the keywords you have come up with and create a chart or a matrix. This process is one of the best ways for you to pare down your options in keywords and to create an effective and well balanced website that works for your particular needs. Analyze the terms you have listed in the chart. There are several things to look for in doing this.
  • Determine where the most valuable keywords are. This means determining which keywords most relate to the theme of your website. If you sell car parts, for example, using that term is going to be important.
  • Determine where the traffic is. By looking at which keywords are important to your business and then ranking them by their importance in rank by how many types people type them into a search engine, you can really start to see the value of some words over others.
  • Determine where the keywords are that are going to convert for you. Converting may mean getting sign ups or getting people to purchase from you. In the car parts example, the word car parts for sale may be an important keyword to use throughout your website, depending on how well it ranks against others similar.
The goal in creating this type of chart is to give you more information and comparison tools to help you to choose the keywords that are going to achieve your goals for the website. There are many different terms out there and sometimes it is not uncommon to have 10,000 or more keywords that could relate to the website.

However, that does not mean that you should use all of those words. Rather, you want to compare your options by traffic, relevancy as well as conversions to make decisions.

When conducting research about SEO and keyword uses, there are many things to consider. You likely want to choose keywords that contain a good variety of the most popular keywords related to your website. That only makes sense since this is what ultimately will determine if your website is going to fit the needs for your clients and visitors. However, hitting those top keywords may simply not be enough to get you on the top ranking for the search engine results pages. How could this be?

Too Much Competition

The more common that the keyword you choose is, the more websites are likely targeting that keyword. Let's explain. Website owner A decides to build a website about car parts for his business. He conducts research and fines that the word used car parts is one of the most commonly typed keywords into the search engine. He bases the website off that word. The problem is, there are dozens if not thousands of more website owners doing the same thing. The competition for used car parts is going to be significantly higher which means that he will work extra hard, and likely spend a great deal more, on building a website that is listed in the top search engine ranking pages.

In this particular situation, it may be best for the website owner to look at other keywords, including those keywords that are less likely to be the ones that website developers are using. Perhaps instead of the top 10 keywords, he focuses on 100 to 110 on the list of keywords he has. While the upper keywords are still used, including the lower keywords may mean better results.

You may not get the results for the used car parts term, because of the competition for it, but you are more likely to rank well for the lesser used keywords and have better results this way. Most website owners will want to target keywords that span the range. Rather than focusing on just a handful of keywords, they may focus on more and that way have a bit of something for everyone.

When conducting your keyword research, it is important to consider not only what your clients and website visitors are looking for, but also what your competition is doing. Take into consideration what all of the keyword options you have are before you choose those top ranking keywords.

Web Analytic Service Strategies

When you hire a company to perform web analytic service for you there are several different strategies they can use to get the data that they need. The main web analytic service features will be that these agencies can provide you with detailed information on who comes to your website and how often they do this.

One of the main strategies that will be employed by most web analytic service agencies is for them to install a click counter on any hyperlink that is established between their client's pages and the rest of the internet. A click counter will show them every time a hyperlink is used from one page to get to their client's page.

By compiling data received from this click counter software they can tell their client which of their hyperlinks are paying off and which of them are not attracting any attention.

The web analytic service will also want to count the number of visitors that arrive at a website via the search engine suggestions. With this data they can tell their client which of their keywords is drawing the largest number of visitors. They can help their client to choose more keywords according to what is working for them now.

These agencies will employ a strategy to tell them how many of the visitors they see on a page in a specified time period are new visitors and how many of them are repeat customers. They will want to map out what the visitors do once they have landed on the homepage of the website and how long they stay on each page that they view while they are there. All of this information will help them to determine what is making the webpages popular or unpopular with the average visitor.

These agencies will use software that can show them how many people come to your home page and then bounce. To bounce, in the eyes of one of these companies, is to land on the page and immediately leave without taking the time to do anything. Knowing the percentage of people that bounce when they arrive can help the web design specialist create landing pages that will make people stick.

The analyst will explain to you that you have approximately seven seconds from the time someone lands on your home page until they move on to another website. In those seven seconds the visitor must see something that intrigues them, or at least see something that makes them curious. The landing page needs to be attractive, colorful, informative, and simple.

If the landing page is too complicated people will leave. If the landing page is too full of long articles the people will leave. Written sentences should never be more than seventy five words long so that they do not appear daunting or intimidating when people see them. Colors of landing pages should be bright and easy on the eyes. You never want this portion of your website to be dull or lacking in color.

A web analytic service can use software applications to help their client discover what is working on their website. The web analytic service will count visitors, and how they found out about the site, and how long they stayed once they arrived. You can get more information at web analytic firm Orange County and web analytic service Orange County.

How To Find Proven Affiliate Products To Promote

You have decided that Affiliate Marketing is the best way forward for you to earn an income online and you have worked out exactly what market you will focus on but how do you now find affiliate products to promote.

Good old Google

Well one of the most obvious ways to find affiliate products is to use Google. Type into the search box words that correlate with your chosen market. For example, if you are focusing on a sport such as golf then type in "golf affiliate programs" or if you want to be more specific you could put "UK golf affiliate programs"
Then from the search results simply go through what has been presented and find appropriate products to promote. I would do a bit of research first before signing up to the affiliate program just to make sure that the products are worth promoting.

Company Specific

If you know of a specific company you would like to promote, perhaps one where you have already used their products or services before and would be comfortable in telling others about them then go to their main company website and see if they have an affiliate program.

Look for a link on their website, this will normally be just the word "Affiliate" and often in quite small text and more often than not hidden right at the bottom on their website although as to where it exactly will be varies from one website to another.

Once you find the link then click on it and sign up to their affiliate program. If there appears to be no link anywhere on their website then as in the first suggestion type into Google "Company name affiliate program" and see what appears. It might be they don't have an affiliate program at all.

Affiliate Networks

Another excellent way to find affiliate products to promote is by joining an Affiliate Network. These networks will have a large selection of companies in their system that they run affiliate programs for of which you can join and promote. You have to join the network first but once accepted you can then join any of the affiliate programs within that network.

Below is a list of the larger Affiliate Networks worth joining,

• ClickBank
• Commission Junction (CJ)
• ShareASale
• Affiliate Window
• TradeDoubler

There are plenty of other Affiliate Networks to join and some of them will specialise in particular markets so you may find a network specific to your particular niche.

Easy Ways to Turn Your SEO Into Success

Just try Googling "successful SEO strategies". You will be surprised to witness an amazing number successful SEO tips. The underlying question is, are these tips really helpful? Do these tips when implemented enable businesses in realizing success in their SEO mission? A concrete response is no way possible. It's all about trail and experiment method, as far as SEO is concerned.

This article specifically articulates the tips which when incorporated into the SEO strategy will definitely bring about success in SEO. Indeed, there are extraordinary SEO companies that can assist businesses in carefully implementing a result-oriented SEO strategy.

Tip #1: - Infusing the right Keywords

A thorough understanding of the keywords/key phrases used by the target audience to find out your product/service online should be deciphered by the business. This step is very crucial for a successful SEO strategy and is technically referred to as Keyword Research. Never infuse keyword just by presumption.

Use scientific data to identify the potential keywords list. Relying on Google Ad Words Keyword Tool would be best choice. Don't over stuff keyword into the content, as it can be counterproductive at times.

By infusing the right keywords, businesses can drive more traffic to the website by attracting the right audience which will positively impact the growth of business in the long run.

Tip #2: - Engaging content

Once you figure out the search queries of your target audience, you can build content accordingly. Ensure that the content being built is highly engaging i.e. Readers should be prompted to act upon reading the content.

Illustration:-

Let's presume that you are selling "Orchid Bouquet" and through research, you happen to discover that the most prominent search query is "Orchid Bouquet online". Now, you got to ascertain whether you have a page for this particular keyword. If yes, optimizing the content accordingly would be the best option. If not, creating a new page would be the ideal way.

Build a page for "Orchid Bouquet online" with some amazing content with a slight marketing mix. Just go about in highlighting the uniqueness of orchid bouquet sold in your website in comparison to other websites and give a short hint about the price factor.

Tip #3: - Make your webpages indexing friendly

Don't expect success in your SEO efforts just by building a user-friendly website with engaging content.

Succeeding in your SEO objectives encompasses a combination of factors. And one such factor is all about how crawler-friendly your pages are? Ensure that your website can be easily crawled by search engines, and the pages contained are easily located by search engines. When search engines confirm that your website and the pages are crawlable it adds it to the searchable book or index of the web.

Do understand that search engines prefer text in web pages. Avoid using Images and multimedia content.

Tip #4: - Build healthy links

In the eyes of search engines, links are very critical for them to rank the pages of your website. It's only by deciphering the quality of links, search engines take a call to rank your website. Generally, content with high-quality and authority links command great authority and are easily ranked by search engines. Many businesses consider this link building process in a wrong perspective. They tend to gain as many links possible from low authority sites. It's certainly of no use.

6 Hot Tips to Rock Your Social Media Results

Social media is a powerful way to build a following, turn prospects into leads, and drive sales.

One of the biggest complaints I hear is that business owners are investing lots of time in social media and not seeing the returns on those efforts.

If you aren't getting the social media results you are looking for, perhaps it's time to look at new tactics.

If you are ready to get more out of your social media marketing, here's 6 techniques to try:

1. Use Facebook Live. Video marketing is a powerful addition to your marketing mix. But live video is shown to keep users watching for 3 times longer than a recorded video.

Fans love the feeling of listening to what you have to share in the moment. Try answering questions and providing tips while live.

Other ways to use Facebook Live is to broadcast an update when you are networking or attending events.

Or share a Facebook live update on any launches coming down the pipe.

2. Offer Opt-In Gifts to Grow Your Marketing List. People can't resist getting a checklist, blueprint, app, or white paper that offers valuable information.

When you give value first, it goes a long way to building trust and rapport with your followers. Plus, this allows you to capture your social media leads into your email marketing list.

Give them something they can't refuse and send them to a landing page to sign up. That way you can keep in contact via email sharing additional offers and information in a drip campaign.

3. Invite People to Take Action. Be strategic with your calls to action to get the most out of your social media efforts.

In addition to sharing a mix of posts, be sure to offer ways your fans can dive deeper with you. This can include a free consultation, special offers and discount deals, webinars, participation in your Facebook group, and more.

4. Build Your Fan Base Organically. Never hire someone from Fiverr who can add 10,000 fans for a fee.

This is a bad idea on many levels.

Instead, find groups with people in your target audience. Be helpful. Start real conversations. Invite them to join your social media page or group.

Don't be afraid to reach out with private messaging to respond to questions they have or share resources or advice.

So don't buy followers. It's about quality of followers, not quantity. It's better to have 1000 raving fans you have attracted, than to have 10,000 fans who don't really know you or have investment in the connection.

5. Offer a Mix of Post Content. People love variety. Be creative and provide a variety of content formats including how-to articles, videos, graphics, and infographics.

An ideal content marketing strategy is to always keep your target market in mind and post what you think they will best want to receive from you.

6. Post at the Ideal Time for Best Exposure. Timing is everything. If you share an incredible post, you want to ensure the most people possible can see it!

There are many social media tools to help you see the best times to post content to reach the biggest audience. This may vary from platform to platform.

So don't guess when you can use analytic tools with reports that help you identify the ideal time to post.

Social media is evolving and growing fast. There is a lot of opportunity get leads, drive sales, and build a following but you have to get creative. You can't just rely on the old tactics you have used in the past; you need to implement new techniques and tools if you want to stay ahead of the competition.

In order to help you get a deeper understanding about this latest media phenomenon, it is best to break it down into something that is easier to digest.

Social - finding enjoyment in the company of others in a friendly and expressive way, which often comes with exchanging views on the same wave length.

Media - a means to communicate (such as television, radio, newspapers, magazines) that has the ability to reach people and influence them.

Marketing - what a company does to gain more customers and establish a relationship with them.

Social Media Marketing aims to have companionship with customers that share common views and interests by means of social sites, in order to build a long-lasting relationship, which in turn gains more revenues.

Regular marketing can be thought of as a one-way street, where you can posts ads on a newspaper or television to let you deliver a message to targeted audience, but with limited ability to engage with your customers. On the other hand, social media is a 2-way platform that enables you to engage with your customers in different ways like a one-on-one basis or one-to-many. Still, it is comparable to herding cats since you have no control, and once you try to control it, you can possibly get scratched and bitten.

Social Media comes in a vast assortment of tools, resources and websites that range from the very popular and visible ones like Facebook and Twitter to the niche communities like Digg or StumbleUpon, of which each has their own touch and requires a distinctive flair. To achieve success, it would help to use a Social Media strategy, as well as a partner who can help in guiding and applying this element of your wide-ranging marketing plan.

What will work and how can you remain up-to-date?

To tell you honestly, it is actually hard. This is the reason why Social Media companies were created. These companies are experts and experienced in this field and have the resources to remain up to date with Social Media sites, tactics, strategies and trends. Moreover, they consolidate and incorporate them into Social Media programs modified to fit any business, no matter if we're talking about small niche market segments or wide-ranging products and services.

Any serious business should consider social media marketing as one of the ways to bring in more leads. And considering more and more people are using smartphones to browse the Internet, responsive websites are a definite must these days!
